Craig Housum has been singing in choirs since the age of nine with the Ohio Boy Choir which included singing for President Reagan at the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, an appearance in the movie A Christmas Story and a European tour. Since that time, he has been a tenor section leader and soloist for several Cleveland area churches and synagogues. He most recently has been singing with the Park Synagogue choir since 1998 and St. Paul’s Lutheran for the past year. In addition, Craig also sang professionally with the Cleveland Opera from 1993 to 2003. Before singing in this production, he most recently played the part of Joey in the musical Sister Act at Olde Town Hall Theater in North Ridgeville. By day Craig has been a music teacher and an administrator, as well, in his 22 years in education. He currently teaches in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.
